Project description
FXP is our community initiative designed to build aspirations, provide career opportunities, and drive social mobility in our region. Working with university, college, school and games company partners, we founded the annual STEM festival, based on a computer games design competition for secondary schools/FE. Now in its 5th year, FXP is a popular annual fixture with students, and supports teachers in delivering the computer science curriculum. We received the PR Week Force for Good Award for FXP in 2017.
Results: delivering an award-winning community education initiative and engaging with over 300 students from 21 different schools and colleges since its inception
