It’s all gold! Conscious Communications awarded prestigious accolade by Investors in People
We are thrilled to announce that Conscious Communications has been accredited the coveted Gold status by Investors in People, the UK’s leading accreditor for business improvement through people management in the UK.
To achieve accreditation, organisations are assessed against particular indicators and, dependent on how highly an organisation scores against each indicator, Investors in People awards the appropriate level. Only 17% of accredited organisations achieve Gold. The Investors in People model measures how well a company is doing at leading and supporting its people, compared to other companies in the industry, or of the same size. As part of the assessment, the organisation is marked on a scale that ranges from a fundamental “developed” level to a “high performing” level.
Investors in People Specialist, Lindsey Waters, commenting on her assessment of Conscious Communications, said: “You’ve nurtured a highly engaged team who are fully committed to your ambition to do well by doing good. The whole team, including leaders, show passion and enthusiasm in their actions, and delight in being a “force for good”. The continued strength of practice is testament to how you place your people at the forefront of everything you do.”
Kick starting 2021 with a bang, the Investors in People Gold accreditation is not the only thing that the team at Conscious Communications has been celebrating recently. At the end of 2020, the team of 11 was announced as the winner of The Social Responsibility Award (up to 249 employees) in the Investors in People Awards 2020. This award highlighted the company’s commitment to being socially responsible.
Alison Taylor, Managing Director at Conscious Communications, said: “I am extremely proud to have secured our Investors in People Gold accreditation for a second three-year term. It is a credit to each and every member of our team for the hard work and dedication that they put in every day. Despite these challenging times, I am so grateful for how everybody has pulled together as a team, with a real drive to help our clients through the work that we do. Receiving recognition for the set of values and ethics that our agency upholds is proof that they are embedded within us all – here’s to the next three years.”
An Investors in People accreditation lasts for three years and, as part of the process, the organisation helps companies create an action plan for improvements they aim to make over that time in line with their business objectives.
