Please give us a short introduction to you.

I have been working in Human Resources for many years for large, small and medium sized organisations in the UK and globally.  This means I have had the benefit of collaborating with a wide diversity of people, supporting them to get the most from their work and working life.  The changes that the pandemic has had on working lives have been fundamental, it has given me a new perspective on the experiences that people have of the workplace and now expect of an employer.

Can you give us an overview of your first month at the agency?

I have been really swept away by how friendly and welcoming the team have been and what a positive and joyful work environment it is in the office.  I have been spending time learning about the roles people have, the policies and practices and the commitment to achieving ever more ambitious levels of success for our clients and also for the organisation generally.

Is there a reason why you enjoy the role?

I am so pleased to be part of a team who take such pleasure in working with clients with a strong social mission, I have been able to reflect on ways in which I can support everyone in the organisation in my capacity as HR Manager in innovative ways.  I leave work at the end of the day with a smile on my face!

What inspires you most?

Learning new things and finding innovative ways to solve problems or achieve ambitious goals.  I also gain the most satisfaction from spending time with a purpose whether that’s being with my family and friends, being a trustee of a local charity or working with an organisation with strong values and ethics, which is what I am able to do with Conscious Communications.
