Ellie TudorPR and Marketing Executive

1. What is the most exciting project that you’ve worked on in the past 12 months and why?

I’m extremely lucky that I get to work with a range of exciting clients, meaning that every day holds something different. A project that has stood out to me in the last 12 months was working with Cambridge University Library on its latest exhibition, Women at Cambridge. Hosted in the beautiful and grand library building (which I was lucky enough to get a tour of), the exhibition told the many incredible and inspiring stories of those women that had fought for a right to education at the University of Cambridge.

Although a short project, our aim was to build excitement ahead of the opening, so it was all systems go! I loved the fast-paced nature of the work, and writing about something that I thought would resonate and draw in many readers. I’m proud to say that we secured fantastic coverage of the exhibition, including interviews with BBC News Online, Apollo magazine and many more.

2. During your career what is the biggest challenge that you’ve overcome?

Not necessarily a challenge, but something that I have definitely worked on and got a lot better at during my time at Conscious Communications is balancing all of my client work throughout the week. I am a lover of a to-do list, which has helped me balance out what needs doing and setting myself different goals for the week.

3. What has been a ‘pinch me’ moment?

Working with the IET and running our own FIRST® LEGO® League event was an amazing experience. I worked on the event throughout all of the various stages and saw the process and hard work that it takes to make it all come together. Standing at the front of the stage and watching over 200 school children file in, full of excitement and speaking about their plans for the day ahead was a fantastic feeling.
