1. What is the most exciting project that you’ve worked on in the past 12 months and why?

I’m fortunate to work with a number of amazing clients, and I have always enjoyed the fast-paced nature of our work. One project that stood out to me in the last 12 months was launching the Cambridge branch of fast-casual eatery, Tortilla. We were on-boarded at quite a late stage in the plans for it to open and managed to not only meet, but beat our targets. It was fun to engage with the local lifestyle and food blogger network to arrange reviews of the food, support the team with the public launch (where we offered free burritos the Cambridge public!) and implement office burrito drops to raise awareness amongst the business community in Cambridge.

2. During your career what is the biggest challenge that you’ve overcome?

I think one of my largest areas of growth has been my confidence, not just in my skills but in myself too. When I first joined Conscious Communications, I wouldn’t have said boo to a goose, but my experience over the years has allowed me to flourish and grow into the role that I am in today.

3. What has been a ‘pinch me’ moment?

There have been quite a few during my time at Conscious Communications! Having the opportunity to travel to Abu Dhabi in October last year for a client’s conference, being one of them. However, one “pinch me” moment that will always stand out to me was securing a full-page piece of coverage in Tes back in 2017 for the British Nutrition Foundation. It will always remain to be one of my favourite pieces of coverage that I have secured to date.
